The challenge to Realm was to convey the emotion, quality venues, atmosphere and excitement of the Games in a series of CGIs and within the context of a restricted budget. We needed to show how the proposed venues would look and convey what it would be like to be there both as a spectator and athlete. They had to tell Glasgow’s story and showcase their unique reasons of why they should win. A short film presented at the final round of the Bid brought the still images to life through animation, graphics and overlays to explain the proposed venues and the proximity of sporting action. This dynamic portfolio of sporting imagery supplemented Glasgow’s strong Bid to achieve success in being awarded the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

"A winning bid is all about having the best vision and the best team. Throughout the race for 2014 we sought to build relationships with people and companies that understood our vision and wanted to be a part of our team. Realm were one of those companies. They were innovative and exciting, yet always grounded in reality. Their input brought our plans to life. I am absolutely certain that they played a major part in our success."
Rob Shorthouse, Head of PR and Media, Glasgow 2014
